Organized to provide assistance to dependents of certified peace officers and firefighters who are killed in the line of duty, provide law enforcement agencies with life protecting equipment that cannot be secured through budgeted funds, and to provide law enforcement educational opportunities.

Court Appointed Special Advocate Association supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.

Builds specially adapted homes for severely injured military personnel and their families. Home recipients are partnered with a service club like Rotary who will also work with the family as they rebuild their lives.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ was organized for charitable, educational and scientific purposes to encourage and promote the breeding, raising and marketing of better livestock and farm products at public fairs and to promote and maintain research and educational functions within the livestock industry.
